The NanoStar® Family
Asclepion Laser Technologies presents its new Q-Switch laser series: The NanoStar® Family
Asclepion introduces the NanoStar® Family – Three new devices for tattoo and pigment removal as well as skin rejuvenation – Innovative technologies: Q-Switch laser systems and the new Mixed- technology – Possibility to combine three different wavelengths from ruby and Nd:YAG laser sources – New handpieces with OptiBeam II technology – Modern graphical user interface with a wide range of setting options.
JENA, Germany, February 1, 2021 – Asclepion Laser Technologies has been operating as a leader in the aesthetic laser medicine market for over 40 years. Constant new developments make Asclepion an outstanding company in the optical industry. Today, Asclepion announces the launch of its new range of nanolasers: The NanoStar® Family. In 1998, Asclepion introduced the first NANO laser, the RubyStar ruby laser, and continues to set new standards with the new family and its innovative mixed technology. The state-of-the-art technology offers numerous advantages for both users and patients.
The most advanced Q-Switch laser family on the market
The NanoStar® Family consists of three new Q-Switch laser systems in three separate devices each. There will be a ruby laser (694 nm), a Nd:YAG laser (1,064 nm + 532 nm) and a combined device with all the above wavelengths plus mixed technology – for perfect conditions for all treatment needs. The family uses the well-known Q-Switch technology, which enables the treatment of tattoos, pigments and even skin rejuvenation.
Laser systems for every need
The NanoStar® C is the highest category of the three models. It can be equipped with the new Mixed technology and can therefore deliver three different wavelengths (532 nm, 694 nm and 1,064 nm) individually, sequentially or simultaneously, which guarantees high flexibility during treatment. The other two models, NanoStar® Y and NanoStar® R, also belong to the highest technological standard and are known for their ideal conditions for the treatment of pigments of any kind. The NanoStar® Y is an Nd:YAG laser system with two different wavelengths (532 nm and 1,064 nm), while the NanoStar® R is a classic ruby laser device (694 nm) for effective pigment removal. Together, the three models form the NanoStar® Family – nanolaser systems for all needs.
Unique mixed technology
With the NanoStar® Family, users can now select the perfect wavelength for their treatment and even combine them if they wish. The NanoStar® C device is a true revolution thanks to its ability to combine the three available wavelengths as desired. For example, the Nd:YAG 1,064 nm laser source can be combined with the ruby 694 nm laser source for perfect and safe pigment removal such as deep melasma. Or the user can use the Nd:YAG wavelength of 532 nm and the ruby laser source of 694 nm together, as they both offer many advantages for pigment treatment. With the NanoStar® C, melanin absorption can be treated with a lower risk to purpura with maximum efficiency and safety thanks to the sequential or combined wavelength delivery. In short, the NanoStar® C offers perfect conditions for any type of pigment treatment thanks to its mixed technology, which makes everyday practice much more flexible.
New handpieces with innovative OptiBeam II technology
The NanoStar® Family is offered with a range of different flat-top and fractionated handpieces. OptiBeam II technology has been specially developed for this new range of handpieces, which means that the laser can produce a highly precise beam for detailed and clean work. The OPTIBEAM® handpieces ensure a flat-top beam profile thanks to their advanced optical technology. This allows the laser energy to be delivered homogeneously to the area to be treated. The handpieces are available in different square and fractional round spot sizes (5×5 mm, 4×4 mm, 3×3 mm, 2×2 mm and 8 mm Ø, 9mm Ø), which allows the treatment of different sized areas.
Modern user interface
The graphical user interface of the entire NanoStar® Family appears in a modern design and fits ideally with the overall look of the NanoStar® Family devices – clean lines and rounded corners. The large and clear 10.4-inch touchscreen displays large buttons and icons that are clearly visible. The dark background also provides higher contrast and better color brilliance. The NanoStar® Family offers a wide range of setting options within the software: for maximum treatment flexibility.
