Plug & Play Handpieces
The Dermablate® offers a wide range of handpieces for different treatment options. There are six handpieces in total. All of them were completely developed from scratch and were designed with the most modern technology. Specially developed optics and connections for integrated smoke evacuation make them the perfect tools for every user’s day-to-day work. The handpieces are thin and light, made out of stainless steel and autoclavable. The handpieces Fineliner (1.5 mm Ø) VarioSpot (1-6 mm Ø) and MicroSpot (13 x 13 mm2) enable uncomplicated ablation in different dermatological specialties. Additionally, the Dermablate® can be equipped with the Steri-Spot handpiece (9 x 9 mm2) for intravaginal treatments and with the Romeo handpiece (5 x 5 mm2) for anti-snoring treatments. Last but not least, the CUT handpiece (0.5 mm Ø) makes even surgical applications possible. It enables fast and precise cutting of soft tissue in various specialities. Optimal Workflow: Smoke Evacuation & Handpiece Port
The Dermablate® is equipped with an integrated smoke evacuation system for the most efficient treatment possible. Extraction in the immediate vicinity of the treatment area considerably simplifies the work process. Setting the smoke evacuation with the help of the rotating bezel above the display also makes handling particularly easy and uncomplicated for the user. The integrated smoke evacuation is very quiet thanks to the activation via footswitch and the double hose system.

The handpiece port on the new Dermablate® makes the change of the handpieces especially easy and therefore facilitates the user’s workflow even more. The hoses can be connected directly to the multifunctional handpiece port, and all handpieces are also automatically recognised – ensuring a quick and easy workflow for everyday use in medical practices.

10.1” LCD touchscreen
The Dermablate® has a 10.1’’ LCD touchscreen with an intuitive user interface. It is suitable for both experts and beginners: Users can select within the menu for treatments and settings. Beginners can choose the desired treatment, and the device then gives the recommended settings. Experts can go directly to the working menu and configure the parameters themselves. The interface also convinces with its large buttons and symbols for an extra clear visualisation as well as its dark background for better contrast and a clear accentuation of active elements with changes in colour and size.

Easy moving & wireless footswitch
The Dermablate® is equipped with big and ergonomics wheels, which makes it very easy to move around the treatment area. The modern footswitch enables convenient treatments. The optional bluetooth footswitch, which communicates directly with the system via Bluetooth, without any cables making it even easier to use. The footswitch can be stored in the holder on the back of the Dermablate® after treatment is complete.

One laser source for each treatment
The VascuStar® DYE offers new treatment options for a wide range of skin problems. The wavelength of 595 nm is optimally absorbed in haemoglobin and is therefore ideally suited for treatments of port-wine stains, large vascular malformations and superficial pigment spots. The VascuStar® DYE is an equally good choice for psoriasis, warts and scars.

The revolutionary RightLightTM technology
This special technology is a light therapy. Light is emitted from a pulsed dye lamp and further filtered through a colour medium (DYE). This ensures a particularly effective and gentle treatment. The broader emission spectrum ranges from approx. 550 nm to 1,200 nm, whereby the RightLightTM technology optimises the emission at 595 nm. POWERLINE L – Handpiece
The new “PowerLine L” handpiece offers the user treatments with an extremely homogeneous spot at a wavelength mix of 810/940 nm and a variable pulse duration of 3 – 400 ms. A spot size of 3 cm2 corresponds to a size of 30 x 10 mm and is very suitable for application on the body and the face. The 360° contact cooling ensures constant cooling of the area to be treated and thus contributes to the patient’s well-being. The handpiece provides a fluence of 1 – 60 J/cm2 and a frequency of up to 20 Hz. Due to a high maximum power of 5,000 watts, shorter pulses can be delivered. The ergonomics and design of the handpiece were adapted from the Monolith series.

POWERLINE YAG – Handpiece
The new “PowerLine YAG” handpiece also offers the best conditions for treatment on the patient. With the new wavelength of 1,060 nm, it is particularly suitable for dark skin types and thus guarantees gentle epilation. The spot size is 3 cm2 – 30 x 10 mm – identical to its series partner, the Powerline L, and is also protected by a sapphire glass window. The 360° contact cooling can be used immediately thanks to compressor cooling and helps to ensure safe application. The combination of high maximum power of 4,200 watts and optimal spot size makes it possible to output shorter pulses and thus achieve the best possible results, especially with light and fine hair. The most advanced Q-Switched laser family on the market
The NanoStar® Family includes three new q-switch laser systems in three separate devices. Nd:YAG dual wavelength, highest energy and shortest pulses
With the PicoStar®, physicians have the opportunity to adapt treatments precisely to the patient’s needs thanks to two wavelength (1064/532 nm), which enable to remove a wide range of pigment colors (from darker colors to blue and red).
Furthermore, the PicoStar® uses the latest technology with the highest power to generate pulses with 300 ps for the most effective treatment of pigments and multicolored tattoos. The system can operate for a long duration with high speed and without the need of pre-pulses for the user. This makes it one of the fastest and most reliable PICO systems on the market. The menu is suitable for both first time users and experts. The large buttons and icons offer good detectability and the dark background delivers a higher contrast and color brilliance. There is a clear highlighting of active elements through size and color change. Beginners can choose the indication, and have the corresponding parameters set automatically. Maximum power, mix of wavelengths & SmoothPulse mode
The one-of-a-kind diode technology with a wavelength combination of 810/940 nm, variable pulse length (3 – 400 ms) and the highly efficient cooling system guarantees the safe treatment of all skin types (I – VI). With power of up to 5,000 watts and a spot size of 10 cm2, the MeDioStar® also enables a greater penetration depth to destroy deeply embedded hair follicles. The SmoothPulse mode allows short pulses at a high frequency of up to 20 Hz. All these features make the treatment more effective, faster and gentler than ever before.

Monolith handpieces with 360° skin cooling
An absolute innovation: The MeDioStar® features the new Monolith handpieces that were completely redeveloped from scratch. They are more ergonomic, lighter, stronger and have a more flexible cable for easy and comfortable use. The 360° contact skin cooling system cools the epidermis very efficiently and protects the skin from burns. The handpieces were made with a unique technology that ensures the even distribution of energy over the entire spot, prevents the formation of hot spots and reduces the risk of side effects. Furthermore, a sapphire glass provides optimal protections of the homogeneous laser beam and maximum reliability. A big plus: Multiple treatment methods are also offered thanks to the new two-handpiece port system.

10.1” touchscreen LCD with redesigned software
The MeDioStar® has a 10.1” touchscreen LCD featuring a completely redeveloped and intuitive user interface. Users can select between the menu for treatments and settings. First time users can choose the desired treatment, and the device then sets up the recommended parameters. Experts can go directly to the working screen and configure the parameters themselves. There are also individually configurable online counters, which display the treatment time or pulse rate in real time. This guarantees optimal control.

Multifunctional trolley & upgrades
The MeDioStar® was developed as a table-top system and was equipped with a unique and multifunctional trolley. The trolley completes the MeDioStar®’s visually appealing design and offers two storage compartments for additional accessories. The system can be easily upgraded with plug-and-play high-tech modules in the future to expand the number of treatment options.

Wireless footswitch
The new, safe and modern footswitch enables convenient treatment. The footswitch, which communicates directly with the system via Bluetooth, without any cables which makes it even easier to use. The footswitch can be stored in the holder on the back of the MeDioStar® after treatment is complete.

Hygienic single use cap
Asclepion has developed a flexible single use cap to ensure the greatest possible level of hygiene during treatment. It individually adapts to each Monolith handpiece and can easily be applied to the handpiece tip before each treatment.

Faster, technical service
The MeDioStar® can be maintained online. Remote maintenance not only provides fast support but also shortens the servicing time. The Shockwatch sensor on all handpieces guarantees optimal control and fast error analysis. The system can also be repaired much faster on site thanks to a revolutionary mechanism.
